In the work titled memeluk diri, the artist invites each individual to love themselves more before trying to make others happy. In living this life, we inevitably encounter many collisions, arrivals and departures are part of the unfolding drama of existence. By caring for ourselves first, we are better able to bring happiness to those we love. And when we are left or rejected, we are less likely to fall apart, because through self love, we can begin again with a steadier and more positive state of mind.
