A rare exhibition of recently rediscovered photographs from the explorer and psychoanthropologist Dr. Lawrence Blair's expeditions across the Indonesian archipelago in the 1970s. The Ring of Fire Archives presents prints of slides rescued from and transformed by the fire which burnt down Dr. Blair's Hollywood home in 1984, with the emulsion creating psychedelic gradients, hazy ombres, three-dimensional textures, and spooky double and triple exposure like effects bringin a new life to people and places lost to time.
