ABOUT THE WORK

The work is inspired by a morning glimpse of an object: two flower petals captured within a single frame beneath a sky that still appears dark. The petals, still in bud and slowly beginning to bloom, seem to anticipate the arrival of sunlight. Faintly visible behind them is another form — a geyser or plume of steam rising into the air. In reality, such a natural phenomenon exists only in distant parts of the planet, lending the painted scene a sense of depth and emotional resonance.

The visual depiction points toward a broader and more layered meaning. The dark morning and the distant geyser appear to engage in a quiet interaction with the flowers. Much like life itself, the surroundings hold many unexpected elements; yet at the same time, life continues to unfold as it must — just as a flower moves through its phases, from bud to full bloom.

Within the cold, silent darkness, everything happens and passes almost unnoticed. It is as though each element carries its own role, simply continuing on its path.
