Steve Gorrow (b.1975) is a self-taught contemporary artist, Gorrow’s paintings incorporate a variety of modest and utilitarian materials, from acrylic to spray paint, oil sticks, collage on canvas, reclaimed woods, silk screens, and textiles.

Mixing traditional mediums with found materials to explore the sculptural side of Abstract painting. Gorrow has spent the last half decade in his studio focusing on evolving his process and experimenting with all these different mediums. To date Gorrow has made his mark primarily on canvas, though his practice extends to Sculptures made from resin, steel, stone and concrete, and also to fashion, ceramics, home-wares, and unique installations.

Prior to pursuing painting, the artist was an award winning multidisciplinary Designer known for his work in Surf,Skate, streetwear Industry and the Australian music industry. He studied at the Enmore design center, (Ass dip), and Ad Award school Graduate in Sydney.
